28.9.2013 nice day with cross winds both directions won by Bobby Krygsman Team Swift 20:51, 2nd Warren Gell Coveryourcar.com 20:53 and 3rd Ian Cox North Lancs RC 21:40. For CRC Dave Turner was up in the placing with 22:08 and Dave Shorrock 26:06. Team Swift took the team award as you would expect from the competition record holders.

CRC's Dave Turner lead the club to a team win today, he was 4th with 55:22, with Simon Lester 59:38 and Dave Shorrock 1:05:04 nice end of season team win. Well done troops. Event won by Michael Ellerton Team Swift 52:28.

1.9.2013 Wigan Whs 25 L2525 1/9/2013. Winner Warren Gell coveryourcar.co.uk 55:40, our Dave Turner an excellent 2nd with 57:06. He said was a a hardish day, not very warm and wind strong but not too bad, just a bit twitchy with the gaps in hedges heading to and from Gt Ecc.

1-59-48 for 50 Mile TT on Cockermouth for a new CRC Vets Standard Record of +29-41.

This is also a new Age Related Record for CRC

PETTS HC Results won by Ross Malpass Garstang CC 4:08. For CRC we had Dave Turner 4:18, Alistair Leivers 4:41 (j) , Paul Sparrow 4:53, Dexter Sparrow 5:24 (j). Good rides here from our young guns too.

18.8.2013 West Pennine RC 25 Clitheroe Bypass Course won by Alastair Wareham (Team Swift 54.58), 2nd Jason Bateman (Pendle Forest CC) 55.04 and 3rd Gareth Metcalfe (Otley CC 58.02). Riding for CRC was PETTS overall winner Dave Turner, still recovering from his accident and riding with a sore shoulder took great care on the wet roads and many roundabouts to finish with 7th place Dave Turner 1.0.07.

CRC had our mile munching Paul Russell having another crack, heard it was a hard windy day with many not finishing, Paul stuck in there for 236 miles provisionally, results not yet published, well done Beer O Clock.

CRC Riders going well in cooler windier conditions, Tony Pilkington leading the way with 22:24, Mick Black 22:48, Steve Cookson 22:59, Simon Lester 23:18, Dave Shorrock 25:47 and Phil Harrison 25:23. Thanks to Phil for his weekly updates from the results sheets.

Mick Black sets new CRC Vets Standard Plus Record of +06-52 at 66 yrs with a 21-31 on a good evening but not a "float". Early Riders had the best of it but he was right at the end of the field., so watch this space.

24.7.2013 nice warm evening on the L1015 winner Jon Evans Border City Whlrs 20:33. CRC riders put some fast times in too with Mick Black 21:31, Tony Pilkington 22:00, Simon Lester 22:03, Dave Edge 23:50 and Dave Balshaw 23:54

Border City Whs , on Sunday , at Keswick : what a ride from the Spanish flyer : 5th place with 56.54 , right to the last few riders he was 2nd fastest on the board, He did pass me with that strange slow motion style he has, Fantatstic ride from Mick B; I did a 59.19 for 13th and got in the prize money on age; SuperDave Shorrock still on one leg : 1.4.32 .

Not offically confirmed but looks like our Dave Turner has won the League now, well done Dave, definite step up this year and am sure another will be made next year. CRC times were Dave winning with 21:41, Mick Black 23:02, Steve Cookson 23:31, Geoff Parkinson 24:30, Phil Harrison 25:57 and junior Sam Rathbone 27:32

A66 based course in the Lakes, won by Mark Holton (drag2zero) 3:37:28, 2nd John Tanner (Strategic Lions) 3:40:43 and 3rd Keith Murray (Strategic Lyons) 3:41:32. Riding for CRC was Mick Black 4:09:56 for 19th place and Paul Russell 25th 4:20:44.
