and here is our optional colour choices for the Windguard Jacket, you can have this in club colours or now also in plainer light blue or gold, here is my blue one. Great windproofer, high neck, zips under arms, single xip rear pocket, feature packed value for money jacket, used one this winter myself over the tech fleece.

Now that we have had a couple of summer ish like days, I have been able to try out more of my standard tech jerseys and I have no issues with them at all. This is most certainly the best looking and performing kit we have ever had, the cut whether race or club is so much better, very light materials too, just be careful with zips snagging on gilets, pull the garment straight with one hand and zip up/down with other. I've said before, try to wear sizes smaller than you think, in terms of shorts improves the comfort and keeps the pad seated, if you can just stretch them on and up and then have to carefully shuffle them upwards (never just yank them up, always shuffle garments bit by bit upwards) then you will have the correct size. For upper jerseys again smaller is better, less flapping material, less weight, looks more fitted, keeps the rear pockets higher up your back and tighter so that items in them do not droop and pull on your shoulders and neck, don't carry much either if all three pockets are full then you are carrying too much. I am using jerseys in small and medium in race cut depending on what I want to wear underneath but I have ordered too some extra small to see how far I can go down for say a hot day with nothing underneath or just a mesh.

Has anyone ordered the Bib Shorts £46 one?

just a couple of us, imagine because last orders were prior to winter, be good to see more in full kit though, I have several pairs not worn much yet will be doing soon as getting warmer, nice fit, standard pad is excellent no need for the thicker endurance once at all, ensure you go for as small as possible this is important. I'm on size Small which is quite tight and keeps the pad secure, extra small I can get on but more likely yank some stitches out, medium would be too loose in leg for me.

Please further note, that the club will now make available skin suits in both the gold/black and all black versions of the kit and that Cycling Time Trials have made reservations about riders in black kit.

Edit - we have also now done the gilet in the black version and also plain Gold or plain light blue winter jackets as well.

60mins hard ish session today, cold and very windy good test of my CS Windguard Jacket (long sleeve version of the gilet), good high collar and kept the wind out easy, had to unzip a little too, this does not have any vents like the CS Seamless Rain Jacket, so underneath my tech fleece was a little damp in places however could have managed today without a shell, so for a steady long ride this is a great outer shell garment.

Just arrived Thermoshield CS Tech Fleece Winter Jacket
This is the next one up above the standard CS tech fleece, differences being, this has windproofing material on the front, and tight long cuffs.

The one up from this is the full Thermoshield Winter Jacket with windproofing throughout, bet that looks great in the black option.

Tested my Fleece Bib Tights this afternoon, very cold december day and cold strong wind, I have medium which are a little loose on me, I will probably try small next time so bit more snug and tight around the legs and particulary below knee, straight out the door I felt the wind go clean through them, did a 20 mile ride locally around lytham, I wouldn't want to be out any longer just not warm enough, anything icy cold then not a chance. These would be fine for between summer and winter and pre summer. For serious winter long rides then would need something warmer.

CS also do some warmer ones Apex Winter Shield Bib Tights

this is the Seamless Clear Rain Jacket, £55 exc vat, we had a little confusion over this as we did a plain Gold and a plain light blue design drawn up but this rain jacket can not be done in club colours it is plain only, anyway I needed a new lighweight shower proof jacket. It is well made, light, quite rubbery to touch, so can be squeezed to s small size for carrying. Reflective logos.
The actual garment we wanted in plain gold and blue (see craig's design for those) is actually the Windguard Jacket £40 exc vat, we will try and get that sorted and available for next time around.

Here is CS info on the Seamless Clear Rain Jacket

"Welcome to a revolution in clear rain jacket technology. Unlike clear rain jackets of the past, our seamless clear rain jacket is both breathable and wind/water resistant. Constructed of CS Seamless Technology, the entire jacket does not use traditional sewn seams but instead all seams are bonded. CS Seamless Technology increases circulation and improves comfort not to mention it will keep the rain and wind out. Also available in a sleeveless vest style – very euro! "

this is the Gilet, super piece of kit, just about get into back pocket if need be, good windproofing, light weight and zip at the rear, looks great on, also comes in the same but with full sleeves too.

We not doing this in the all black version, only this gold one is available, CS now also do a slightly heavier version described as for riding in all day.

I've logged in to champion systems but can't seem to enter the store any ideas?

We do not have an Order open thus if you log-in you can not access anything.
If you wish to see what garments are available just use their website.

go to champ-sys.co.uk/

then at the top go to Browse Sports, hover over it and choose Cycling

then at the top hover over Cycling Collection or click it

you can then click for jackets, tops, bottoms etc

see also our website Notice Board above and click Club Kit for latest designs
